Run a diagnostic tool
Install the published 0.6.33-dev version, create two Gooo packages, and run them against supplied examples. Then reuse the saved program on three new inputs. This example needs no model or account.
Requires Go 1.27.2 for native execution. These macOS/Linux commands install Gooo locally for this shell. See the installation guide for PATH setup, platform downloads, and what each command does.
GOBIN="$PWD/.gooo-bin" GOWORK=off GOTOOLCHAIN=go1.27.2 \
go install github.com/kimjooyoon/meta-ontology-go/cmd/gooo@v0.6.33-dev
export PATH="$PWD/.gooo-bin:$PATH"
gooo init --template diagnostic my-diagnostic
cd my-diagnostic
gooo package execute --json --cases cases.json gooo.workspace.json > execution.json
gooo package replay --receipt execution.json --inputs inputs.json gooo.workspace.json
The final command prints:
"partial: missing branch result [repair-and-replay]"
"unobserved: Add expected observations. [add-examples]"
"complete: All observed fields matched. [accept]"
Edit inputs.json and replay to try your own counts and diagnostic text.
Conditions and choices belong to diagnostics.gooo;
app.gooo imports the package and formats its result.
See what people can build
Go standard-library ports
Thirteen HTTP, Unicode, and byte functions written in Gooo. A separate native suite compares 3,147 function and importing-example inputs with pinned Go originals and saved replay.
Native UUID Text parsing
Parse UUID text and inspect success, the returned UUID text, and original errors, including values returned on failure. Follow this example's pinned native setup with Git and Go.
Reusable Gooo functions
Number, logic, and text packages with an importing application you can run.
Approval policy simulator
A browser interface over Gooo rules and generated Go execution, with replayable observations.
Gooo is experimental. Current pure bodies cover bounded scalar and record programs. General loops, collections, and unrestricted Go-library compatibility are outside this profile. Finite examples measure the supplied cases; they do not prove behavior for all inputs.

Authority boundaries for .gooo intent, semantic IR, generated Go, and evidence.
Language sketch
The current syntax and semantic contract, including unsupported surfaces.
Governance
Source-of-truth, evidence, write-back, and fail-closed rules.
Metric catalog
Named metric contracts and their declared decision states.
Metrics RFC
Design context for deterministic metrics; it is not a live scorecard.
Source and semantic evidence
These links show where the declared policy and its generated semantic evaluator live in the source tree.
Public-trust .gooo policy
The source policy that declares the public-trust rows and their states.
Generated evaluator
The checked-in semantic projection generated from the public-trust policy.
Release evidence contract
Exact-head readiness evidence, fixed denominators, and fail-closed behavior.
Release publication contract
Experimental release identity, asset boundaries, and permission separation.
UNKNOWN and REFUTED remain evidence. The Public trust surface report preserves unavailable and refuted rows. Read the original report and exact workflow run when a claim matters; this index never turns an absent or contradictory observation into success.
Existing CI observations
GitHub Actions is the source for run-scoped summaries and exact-head artifacts. Open the relevant run before treating an observation as evidence.
Public trust surface
Manifest and human report, including UNKNOWN and REFUTED rows.
CI and source metrics
Run summaries and exact-SHA metric, provenance, receipt, and proof artifacts.
Release readiness
Exact candidate and readiness evidence; it does not itself publish a release.
Governance snapshot
Existing live governance observations with their own run and artifact scope.
Experimental releases
Release pages are the existing publication surface. A readiness result and a published release are separate claims.
